![]() ![]() When you touch it, it will offer you a dialog where you can play any of the animations, or stop the one currently playing. Rez a prim, drop this script in it, and a bunch of animations, then take and wear it as a HUD. Sometimes, you just need something simple to pick an animation to play. If every script creator did this, we’d be living much less laggy second lives! The init_profile () call just sets the memory limit when PROFILE is undefined (and the show_profile () call is replaced by a blank line of code). Once you’ve figured out a good number for MEMLIMIT, don’t forget to turn off debugging and profiling by changing the #define DEBUG and #define PROFILE to #undef DEBUG and #undef PROFILE, and leave the init_profile () and show_profile () calls in place. Doing this simple exercise saved over 56K! That may not sound like a lot, but don’t forget there can be thousands of scripts running in a region, so it adds up. I will leave a little buffer between the size reported and the limit, just in case □ So in my example, I left MEMLIMIT at 8000. Increase the size of MEMLIMIT until this message goes away. If you see Barrier: MEMLIMIT = 8000 too small This tells us that at the end of the timer event, the most memory the script has ever used is 7598 bytes, so our starting figure of 8000 was close. When you save this, and collide with it (if you’re trying this, don’t forget to replace my UUID with yours!), you’ll see something similar to the following… Barrier: Memory profile init: 0īarrier: Memory profile show (timer): 7598 So the logical place to put the show_profile () call is at the end of the timer. It can be tricky to figure out where to put this call, but in this case, it’s easy, as the script flow first sets everything up and then waits for a collision by me, followed by the timer firing. The show_profile () call displays the current maximum amount of memory the script has used. The init_profile () call sets the script’s memory limit based on the MEMLIMIT definition, and starts memory profiling if PROFILE is defined (and, just a warning here, memory profiling can drastically slow down your script so make sure you turn it off when done!) Now notice the calls to init_profile () and show_profile (). The code at the top includes my standard debugging code, and the #define MEMLIMIT 8000ĭefines an initial memory limit of 8000 bytes, tells profile.lsl to enable profiling, and includes the profiling code. It takes no external input, all the memory it will use is its code, it doesn’t even use any variables! So this is a perfect candidate for limiting script memory allocation. It lets me walk through it by turning the barrier phantom when I collide with it, but for everyone else, it does nothing. This is a simple script that goes in an invisible barrier. LlSetLinkPrimitiveParamsFast (LINK_THIS, ) #include "profile.lsl" // See the source of profile.lsl #include "debug.lsl" // See the source of debug.lsl You can access the included files by following the link in the comments next to them. Let me show you an example of how I use it. To make things easy, I created an include file for my scripts. And, as you may have guessed, this post was prompted by someone triggering the swapping problem on my home sim, which made me see if I could drop the memory that my scripts allocate. So, if you have something that doesn’t allocate memory out of your control, how do you know what upper limit to set with your call to llSetMemoryLimit ()? There’s a set of memory profiling calls that will tell you. It depends on how many textures the owner loads into the frame’s contents, and not how the script creator codes the script. Typically to do this, the script will load the names of the textures into a list, and therefore the amount of memory used by the list is out of the control of the script creator. ![]() The owner can drag textures into the frame and display them. So, what as script creators can we do? If you have a script that takes no external input, you can limit the amount of memory your script will be allocated with a llSetMemoryLimit () function call.įirstly, what do I mean by “takes no external input”? An example of something that takes external input is something like a picture frame that displays the owner’s selection of textures. Swapping is a Bad Thing™ and will drastically slow down the sim, which you’ll see as lag. With thousands of scripts in a region, this can easily consume all the memory allocated to the region, and cause the region to start swapping memory out to disk (this all happens at the Linden Lab server running the region). This is true even if the script uses only a few kilobytes of memory. In Mono, which is the modern script engine, each script gets 64K of memory allocated by default. Thinking about script memory in LSL is very important. ![]() ![]() For some reason I just can’t get enough of this one! I wore this one all fall/winter last year and I will be repeating that trend again this year. ‘Turn N Pose’ is a dramatic deep plum that is sure to please. Even though this isn’t a typical nude polish I would definitley classify this one as more of a Fall neutral that can go with a lot of different looks. This one goes on like a dream and has a gorgeous sheen that makes this one a beauty to look at. The first GC I picked is ‘Pearls Of Wisdom’, a lustrous mulberry pearl. Next we have six of my favorite Gel Couture polishes for fall.įrom left to right: ‘Pearls Of Wisdom’, ‘Turn N’ Pose’, ‘Hang Up The Heels’, ‘Wrap Party’, ‘Model Clicks’, and ‘Beau-Tie’. This one was originally released in the 2016 Summer Collection and is a polish that I feel you can wear year round, however it specifically speaks to me during the cooler months as it goes with my darker toned outfits. ![]() My last fall pick from the regular essie line is ‘Tribal Text-Styles’, a black gold and crusted onyx. This ones formula is similar to ‘Apres-Chic’ for those of you who own that one and although it is a metallic it doesn’t leave streaks on your nail like some other metallics do. When this one originally came out I was unsure of the color and whether or not I would truly wear it but this has become a fall staple because of its uncommon coloring and shine. ‘Leggy Legend’ is an alloyed bronze bombshell. The sheen in this one speaks for itself and although it was released in last years Winter Collection I’m all about it this year for Fall. Next is ‘Ready To Boa’, is a glistening bronzed mahogany. This one is definitley a show stopper and you will be getting asked your polish color left and right by those admiring its unique hue. I’m still all about this polish and burnt orange nails are on trend again for the fall ’17 season. ‘Playing Koi’ is a flirtatious orange rust from the Fall Collection last year. This chocolate brown has a fantastic formula and looks stylish but subdued. ![]() When this one first came out I thought it was truly ugly and that I would never wear it but little did I know that it would look so good on the nail and become a personal favorite. My next fall go to is ‘Partner In Crime’, a rich dark chocolate. My normal go to army green polish is ‘Sew Psyched’ but when essie came out with this beauty in the Wild Nudes Collection I instantly new it would be on repeat all fall. ![]() My first pick is ‘Exposed’, this mossy green is my favorite type of polish to wear during autumn as I am all about army green. These are the polishes that I feel I’m going to use the most in the coming months and ones that you should get now if you don’t already have them! First up we have six of my fall favorites from the regular essie line.įrom left to right: ‘Exposed’, ‘Partner In Crime’, ‘Playing Koi’, ‘Ready To Boa’, ‘Leggy Legend’, and ‘Tribal Text-Styles’. I picked six Gel Couture polishes and six polishes from the regular essie line to showcase for the upcoming season. I decided to round up some of my favorite polishes for fall 2017. ![]() ![]() ![]() Francis John Byrne suggests that it may date from the time of Cerball mac Dúnlainge. O'Rahilly believed that the Lagin pedigree of the Osraige is a fabrication, invented to help them achieve their goals in Leinster. In either case it would appear they should properly be counted among the Érainn. The Osraige were probably either a southern branch of the Ulaid or Dál Fiatach of Ulster, or close kin to their former Corcu Loígde allies. The tribal name Osraige means "people of the deer", and is traditionally claimed to be taken from the name of the ruling dynasty's semi-legendary pre-Christian founder, Óengus Osrithe. Another ancient road, the Slighe Cualann cut into southeast Osraige west of present-day Ross, before turning south to present-day Waterford city.Ĭnoc Bhréanail, aka Brandon Hill, the highest elevation in Kilkenny The ancient Slige Dala road ran southwest through northern Osraige from the Hill of Tara towards Munster which later gave its name to the medieval Ballaghmore Castle. Some of the highest points of land are Brandon Hill (County Kilkenny) and Arderin (on the Laois-Offaly border). The kingdom's most significant neighbours were the Loígis, Uí Ceinnselaig and Uí Bairrche of Leinster to the north and east and the Déisi, Eóganacht Chaisil and Éile of Munster to the south and west. Like many other Irish kingdoms, the tribal name of Osraighe also came to be applied to the territory they occupied thus, wherever the Osraige dwelt became known as Osraige. These three principal rivers- the Nore, the Barrow, and the Suir, which unite just north of Waterford City, were collectively known as the "Three Sisters" ( Irish: Cumar na dTrí Uisce). To the west and south, Osraige was bounded by the River Suir and what is now Waterford Harbour to the east, the watershed of the River Barrow marked the boundary with Leinster (including Gowran) to the north, it extended into and beyond the Slieve Bloom Mountains. The ancient Osraige inhabited the fertile land around the River Nore valley, occupying nearly all of what is modern County Kilkenny and the western half of neighbouring County Laois. The northern part of the kingdom, eventually known as Upper Ossory, survived intact under the hereditary lordship until the reign of King Henry VIII of England, when it was formally incorporated as a barony of the same name. The Normans under Strongbow invaded Ireland beginning in 1169, and most of Osraige collapsed under pressure from Norman leader William Marshal. In the early 12th century, dynastic infighting fragmented the kingdom, and it was re-adjoined to Leinster. ![]() Osraige's rulers remained major players in Irish politics for the next three centuries, though they never vied for the High Kingship. The Dál Birn returned to power in the 7th century, though Osraige remained nominally part of Munster until 859, when it achieved formal independence under the powerful king Cerball mac Dúnlainge. In the 5th century, the Corcu Loígde of Munster displaced the Dál Birn and brought Osraige under Munster's direct control. It was ruled by the Dál Birn dynasty, whose medieval descendants assumed the surname Mac Giolla Phádraig.Īccording to tradition, Osraige was founded by Óengus Osrithe in the 1st century and was originally within the province of Leinster. The home of the Osraige people, it existed from around the first century until the Norman invasion of Ireland in the 12th century. Osraige (Old Irish) or Osraighe (Classical Irish), Osraí (Modern Irish), anglicized as Ossory, was a medieval Irish kingdom comprising what is now County Kilkenny and western County Laois, corresponding to the Diocese of Ossory. ![]() ![]() Convenient lesson layout Kanji are presented through new vocabulary in each lesson. Snakes in particular are designed to solve problems where the approximate shape of the boundary is known. In computer vision, contour models describe the boundaries of shapes in an image. Rather, they depend on other mechanisms such as interaction with a user, interaction with some higher level image understanding process, or information from image data adjacent in time or space. Line 1 starts with the contour interval, not the projection point.Snakes do not solve the entire problem of finding contours in images, since the method requires knowledge of the desired contour shape beforehand. Slope Worksheet - Use the information from the example above and complete the slope worksheet. The run is 1000 feet and the rise in elevation is 120 feet. Step 4. Use the slope percent equation and solve. Set up the cancellation table so all units will cancel, except the desired unit, feet. Step 2. Use the appropriate conversion factor to convert the horizontal map distance to horizontal ground distance. The horizontal map distance measures 0.5 inches. Step 1. Measure the horizontal map distance between points A and B to get the vertical ground distance. The horizontal distance between points A and B can be measured with a scaled ruler and used to determine the slope percent.Įxample 4 - What is the slope percent in Exercise 2 above?įor this computation, the rise, or vertical ground distance, and run, or horizontal ground distance, are needed. Notice the tick marks pointing toward lower elevation. The figure above illustrates a depression and its representation using contour lines. (b) Notice how a mountain saddle, a ridge, a stream, a steep area, and a flat area are shown with contour lines. ![]() The figure above illustrates various topographic features. Contour lines that are very close together indicate a steep slope. Widely separated contour lines indicate a gentle slope. The peak is normally considered to be located at half the interval distance. Note: The intervals are increasing, therefore, the contours indicate a hill. From the contour map, a profile can be drawn of the terrain.Įxample 2 - Draw a profile showing the elevations of the contours. The even spacing indicates the hill has a uniform slope. The contour lines in this figure are equally spaced. ![]() Pick two contour lines that are next to each other and find the difference in associated numbers. Sharp contour points indicate pointed ridges.Įxample 1 - In the graphic below, what is the vertical distance between the contour lines? Contour lines tend to enclose the smallest areas on ridge tops, which are often narrow or very limited in spatial extent. A rounded contour indicates a flatter or wider drainage or spur. They then cross the stream and turn back along the opposite bank of the stream forming a "v". As a contour approaches a stream, canyon, or drainage area, the contour lines turn upstream. If the numbers associated with the contour lines are decreasing, there is a decrease in elevation. If the numbers associated with specific contour lines are increasing, the elevation of the terrain is also increasing. Index contours are bold or thicker lines that appear at every fifth contour line. A contour interval is the vertical distance or difference in elevation between contour lines. A contour line is a line drawn on a topographic map to indicate ground elevation or depression. ![]() ![]() Airport Master APK 1.44 free Download Latest Version. The three North African countries of Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco are closely connected in sentiment and foreign policy with the Arab states. Subsequent events have tended, in loose usage, to enlarge the number of lands included in the definition. By the mid-20th century a common definition of the Middle East encompassed the states or territories of Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Israel, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Libya, and the various states and territories of Arabia proper ( Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Yemen, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and the Trucial States, or Trucial Oman ).
